| What We Believe | |
| 1. | God revealed himself in creation, the Hebrew Scriptures (the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings) and the B'rit Hadasha (New Testament) - specifically through the life of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) as revealed in the book of Hebrews. He also discloses himself personally in our hearts. |
| 2. | God is holy; God is love; He is all-powerful and infinite. |
| 3. | God in his love revealed himself in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) who is designated Ben Elohim (Son of God). He is at the right hand of God and was God manifest in the flesh |
| 4. | God is made real in our lives by the "Ruach HaKodesh" (Holy Spirit), who dwells in the hearts of believers. The Ruach also shows the world its shortcomings (compared to a Holy God), its need of right standing before God, and makes people aware of judgment to come in the Olam HaBa (World-to-Come). |
| 5. | Man and woman created in the image of God fell into sin by yielding to the serpent's temptation. This resulted in both mortality and spiritual death - and separation from God. |
| 6. | The Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) tells us of God's ever longing for man's salvation from sin, and for the restoration of fellowship between the Creator and his creation, provided a system of sacrifices for the Patriarchs and for God's people while the Temple was intact in Jerusalem. |
| 7. | The final, complete, and perfect kapor (sacrifice) for sin was effected circa 33 C.E. on a hill named in Hebrew "Golgota," for its skull shape. On that hill, the Romans carried out capital punishment by the sacrificial death and shedding of blood of Yeshua the Messiah. |
| 8. | Messiah Yeshua, who died for our sins, rose from the dead for our justification. He is now seated in glory with the Father. |
| 9. | God's written word consists of the 66 inspired books of the Bible (Hebrew Scriptures and the Brit Hadasha), which are inerrant in the original |
| 10. | Yeshua the Messiah's promise to send the Ruach HaKodesh was fulfilled on the day of Shavnot (Pentecost), the fiftieth day after Messiah's resurrection. |
| 11. | To obtain salvation and restored fellowship with God, every person must repent of sin, believe, accept Yeshua the Messiah and confess him. |
| 12. | Messiah commanded us to remember his death, his body given for us, and his blood shed for us, by celebrating the Passover of the New Covenant (communion). He commanded us to immerse new believers in water. |
| 13. | Messiah will return for his people and judge the living and the dead. He will establish his perfect reign in Jerusalem. |
